Lamb Korma
Ingredients
You have just purchased a packet of Garam Masala
Salt to taste
Directions
Mix the garam masala, ginger, garlic, yoghurt and salt and then coat the lamb well with the mixture. Leave to marinate at least a couple of hours, overnight is best.
In a hot pan, tip in the oil and fry the onions till golden brown. Add in the marinated lamb. Brown the mal and then cook on slow till the lamb is tender.
To be honest, I like my lamb to disintegrate with a fork so once the onions are browned, I put everything in the slow cooker or in a casserole dish and cook slowly. This way I don't have to keep standing over the stove baby sitting the korma.
Once the lamb is tender, sprinkle some chopped corriander over the korma, serve with rice or any flat bread. Happy days!
Like I said earlier, this korma is seriously easy. You can google recipes and find more complex ways to make a korma, so knock yourself out.
Options:
1. Add chilli powder with the garam masala if you like a hot curry.
2. Add tofu and vegetables if you would like a vegetarian version.
Do send me pictures of how your korma turned out.
